Palm Yoga and Tampa Jiu Jitsu is the realization of a dream for Rebecca Wood and Ryan Deichert. After many years of Rebecca studying yoga and Ryan training Jiu-Jitsu, they have opened their own studio offering excellent yoga and jiu-jitsu instruction in a friendly, non-intimidating atmosphere.
Palm Yoga separates itself from other yoga studios by teaching a proven, program-based curriculum in a way that addresses the individual needs of each student. Due to the structure of our programs, our teachers get to know you and your body, along with your strengths and weaknesses. This allows us to provide you with personalized programs that maximize your yoga practice and quest for better health.
The mission statement for Palm Yoga is to make yoga accessible to everyone. We accomplish this by doing the following:
using yoga props to accommodate different levels of flexibility and fitness
recruiting teachers that are knowledgeable about adjustments and pose alternatives as well as special needs
teaching in a caring and patient manner where the student comes first
